FSFA Spring Jamboree

The Florida State Fiddlers Association will be holding our annual FSFA Spring JAMboree at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs, Florida on April 8-10, 2022! In years past, we held a fiddle-banjo duet contest at this event, a tradition that started when the Florida Old Time Music Championships ended. Thankfully, the FOTMC folks are bringing that wonderful event back this year, with lots of contests for different instruments! Their event will take place at the end of April so we will not have a contest at our JAMboree this year, but instead encourage competitors to attend the FOTMC gathering. Our FSFA Spring JAMboree will focus instead on jamming and fun! Whether you camp in the campground at the state park, stay nearby, or attend just for the day, you should be able to find some jams to enjoy in the campground area or around the park. The FSFA will not charge a fee to attend this year! Everyone will be responsible for paying the regular state park admission fee and will be required to follow their rules. If you have any questions, feel free to email us! Now go practice your fiddle!!!

The Stephen Foster Folk Cultural Center State Park is offering us a special arrangement for our FSFA Spring JAMboree, to accommodate additional primitive camping sites. They are going to allow us to have folks register in advance with us for primitive tent sites (no hook-ups) in the area to the right, as you enter the campground and go toward the bath house on the right side. Campers will be required to follow the rules of the park. We will not be able to accommodate last minute camping registrations, so please have your pre-registration payment and form in by March 31st at the very latest. The sites will be first come, first served as far as location in that field. To pre-register, please click the link below.
